The Twin Cities metro area (Minneapolis/Saint Paul, MN) is one of the few areas in the country that has a national park running right through it! The Mississippi National River and Recreation Area is a 72-mile stretch of the Mississippi River that was designated a national park in 1988. The park is comprised of 89 state, regional, and local parks from CoonRapids to Hastings. This means that hiking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, biking, birding, and so many more outdoor opportunities are just a short walk or drive away for more than 3.6 million people in the area.

@ParkConnection @WinterWalker @Hiker_44 thanks so much for the multiple votes for the Twin Cities suggestion! We are currently working on a better way to display locations so they're not in a super long drop-down menu. We'll add a bunch of new locations once that's done, Minneapolis/Saint Paul included!
For events you'd like to post now that don't have a "home" board, just make sure you reference the specific location in the subject line and add the location as a label within your post!
