@hangreen highly recommend Point Defiance Park! It can feel like a mini National Park with over 10 miles of trails through woods and along bluffs that overlook the Tacoma Narrows. In addition to be beautiful, you can stop by the Rose Garden and Japanese Garden on the way, which are also both lovely! Hope that helps!

@hangreen I really enjoy running along the waterfront on Ruston Way. In addition to being absolutely beautiful, it is easy to access with plenty of parking, there is a wide, paved path and it is flat. Round trip, end to end, it is about 4 miles however, if you want to add distance or some hills, you can head up to Old Town Tacoma.
My other favorite place to run is just outside of Tacoma at Chambers Bay in University Place. The loop through the golf course is just over 3 miles and is absolutely stunning, but more challenging than Ruston Way. It is also easy to access with plenty of parking and is a paved trail.
