East Coast Greenway Ales for Trails 5K | Durham, NC | October 13
Join us Sunday, October 13 for the ninth annual Ales for Trails 5K, benefitting the nonprofit East Coast Greenway Alliance. Register online TODAY at greenway.org/alesfortrails.
This community 5K will start and finish at the award-winning Fullsteam Brewery, just north of downtown Durham, North Carolina. The course winds through Old North Durham to Duke Park and along the Ellerbe Creek Trail – a segment of the 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway, stretching from Maine to Florida.
Runners will be rewarded with a custom Ales for Trails pint glass filled with Fullsteam ale and will be entered to win prizes and gift certificates from several local businesses. Youth "half-pint" runners will receive an 8-ounce silicon cup - and can refuel with chocolate milk. The top overall male and female finishers will receive a unique, custom award. The second- and third-place overall male and female finishers, and the top three masters males and masters females finishers also will be recognized with a special award.
