Wednesday, January 8th

Street Tree Care @ Sunset Park: Volunteers will help out the stewardship team by spreading mulch that was created during Mulchfest around young trees to protect them against the winter cold. Volunteers will also weed, cultivate, and clean the soil around the trees. Timing: 9:30am-12:00pm. Meeting Location: 44th Street and 6th Avenue. Activity level: Easy to Moderate. Required Gear: Volunteers should dress in clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes. They should also bring their own bottles. Provided gear: Gloves and work tools. RSVP here

Street Tree Care @ Bennett Park: Volunteers will help out the stewardship team by spreading mulch that was created during Mulchfest around young trees to protect them against the winter cold.
